How to send photos in WhatsApp without compression

WhatsApp automatically reduces the image clarity in order to minimise the file size. And at the end, your perfect DSLR shots will look like it was shot on a 2MP mobile camera. On the other hand, mailing such huge sized files is too hectic for an average Internet user.

So the question is, is there any way to send pictures in WhatsApp without compression? Here I tell you the easiest and quickest method to disable WhatsApp image compression.



Generally you must be sending using this method as shown in the picture on left i.e. tapping on the camera icon.

It simply shows up your photos and afer choosing it you send it. Or some of you might be tapping that "attachment" button and add the photo as an attachment ( from gallery or camera) However, they are pretty all the same.
As you can see your photo has been sent using the above method. But it is not the one with crystal clear sharpness and clarity as you have it on your phone. It has been reduced in size and has lost its attributes or properties like information such as on which camera it was captured and what is its aperture etc.
So, now I will tell you how to send it as it is without losing any of your pixel conserving every property of the photo.
Just tap on this "attachment" icon as you would do.


Now tap on Document. Yes, document.



Now select your image. By tapping on Browse other docs.. or right from the list (if it is).


After choosing your image. You will see something like this. Now click SEND.





Now see the photo has been sent (the one without preview) and without being compressed.







So that's how we do it. You can now send your professional quality images without havng to use other messaging apps like Hike (who claims to do the same) conveniently without any hassle.
